The HR Generalist supports a wide range of human resources functions for CEI. This role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and compliance while providing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers. The HR Generalist ensures accurate recordkeeping, assists with benefits administration, and helps maintain adherence to federal and state labor laws, as well as industry standards such as AS9100 and ITAR.
- Recruiting & Onboarding: Post job openings, coordinate interviews, and extend offers. Manage new-hire onboarding and orientation programs.
- Employee Management: Assist with training coordination and maintain training records. Manage performance reviews and track attendance.
- Benefits & Payroll: Process biweekly payroll, including pay rate updates and deductions. Assist with benefits enrollment and respond to employee inquiries.
- Compliance & Recordkeeping: Maintain employee handbook, disciplinary records, and termination documentation. Support compliance reporting (EEOC, Work Comp, Unemployment Claims).
- Employee Relations: Serve as a source for employee questions and concerns. Assist managers with disciplinary actions and terminations.
- HR Reporting: Track and update skills matrix, training hours, and other HR metrics.
