Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and products within our warehouse area.
Candidates must be able to commute to Dayton in the near future
Responsibilities:
•Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials and products.
•Scan finished goods to the proper location in the warehouse with accuracy.
•Assist in the daily activities of the warehouse receiving/shipping areas as required.
•Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
•Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and location.
•Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
•Valid forklift operator certification or willing to obtain as a job requirement
•Prior experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
•Strong knowledge of safe forklift operation and warehouse safety practices.
•Ability to handle heavy materials and load/unload trucks with precision.
•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
•Good communication and teamwork skills.
•Basic computer skills for recording inventory movements.
•Bilingual, English and Spanish
