Responsible for all maintenance and repairs of all LRW’s facility electrical systems, motors, pumps, generators, switchgear equipment, etc., as well as any electrical equipment and controls associated with new construction projects. Directs or assists LRW engine techs and mechanics as needed or required.

This position has been evaluated as to whether a momentary lapse of attention may result in grave and immediate danger to the employee, coworkers, or the public. If the designation is yes, the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act (AMMA) of 2016 will govern working conditions. If no, the AMMA will not apply to the position.
This position has been evaluated as to the mandated wearing of a company uniform during working hours.
MUST HAVE TO START AT THIS LEVEL
Completed minimum two (2) years as CP Electrician Tech or equivalent.
Completed minimum of two (2) years as CP Journeyman.
MUST HAVE TO START AT THIS LEVEL
General knowledge of electrical tools, devices and terms.
Completed all requirements for CP Electrician Tech with on the job training.
Thorough knowledge of facilities (treatment plants and pump stations) and other plant equipment.
Some knowledge of national and local electrical codes
WILL OBTAIN AND/OR PERFORM WHILE IN POSITION
Pass LRW Electrical Exam I to be eligible for next level.*
Pass LRW Electrical Exam II to be eligible for next level.*
Pass LRW Electrical Exam III to be eligible for next level.*
Demonstrate general knowledge of electrical diagrams and plans.
Inspect MEG, amp, troubleshoots all electrical motors, pumps, and controls.
Maintain and repair electric motors, equipment, controls, devices.
Work with electricians and assist in all aspects of electrical work.
Perform manual labor as needed, such as lifting and carrying tools and equipment.
Perform all electrical needs on a project from start to finish.
Access hard-to-reach areas of equipment and perform repairs with or without assistance.
Climb and work from ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated areas.
