Job Summary
We are seeking a Robot Technician to assist in programming, testing, and optimizing robotic systems for automation. This internship offers hands-on experience with industrial robots, control systems, and automation processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about robotics, eager to learn, and ready to apply programming and engineering principles to real-world applications.
Job Duties
- Assist in developing and modifying programs for industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, ABB).
- Support debugging and troubleshooting of robotic systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct simulations and offline programming to test robotic movements before deployment.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate robots with PLCs, sensors, and vision systems.
- Assist in configuring robotic controllers and optimizing cycle times for automation processes.
- Help analyze system performance data and suggest improvements.
- Maintain records of robot programs, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for robotic systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for robotic automation and safety compliance.
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of industrial robotics and programming languages (e.g., RAPID, KRL, Fanuc TP, Python, or C++).- Familiarity with PLC programming, vision systems, and automation technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
