Overview
The Program Manager's role in the grant is integral to its success. In addition to overseeing the implementation of the project's activities, the Program Manager is also responsible for ensuring the timely submission of all performance reports and that all grant activities follow Department of Education regulations. The Program Manager must be flexible, disciplined, and able to meet numerous deadlines. Ideally, the Program Manager will have experience in project and personnel management, instructional development, and coordinating work with contractors and partner organizations. The Program Manager should have knowledge of evaluation and be able to write clear and comprehensive reports related to online learning and language revitalization.
Candidate should have a degree in education, Indigenous studies, or a related field with experience in language teaching, online curriculum development, or program evaluation, as well as prior experience in program design, instructional planning, and educational technology. The Program Manager will be responsible for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the online language learning project, which includes oversight of all administrative components in addition to managing contractors, coordinating instructional content development, and supporting virtual delivery and assessment. The successful candidate must have familiarity with K-5 language development and teacher training. Strong interpersonal skills are a priority. The applicant must be familiar with project management tools, digital learning platforms, databases, and reporting software. The applicant will be expected to represent the online language project at relevant community and cultural events and serve as a public-facing ambassador for the program and the institution. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Language Revitalization Program Director.

Working Environment:* The majority of the work may be performed either in a professional office setting or remotely from a properly equipped home office.
