Purpose of Position:
Ensure efficiency in the acquisition, storage and distribution of supply and other food service related materials. Receive incoming freight. Purchasing, receiving, inventory, storing, and associated record keeping of products and supplies as well as performing general cleaning and floor maintenance duties.
Educational Requirements:
•High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Experience and Background:
•Perform all tasks safely and in a timely manner.
•At least 3-5 years of work experience or training which demonstrates suitability for and knowledge of what is required in this type of work.
•Proficient in Excel and Microsoft products.
•Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures & cleaning supplies.
•Enjoy working with people; must be friendly, helpful, patient and ability to work as part of a team.
•Excellent customer service, organization and time management skills.
•Good communication skills, ability to speak, read and write English.
•Ability to adhere to strict policy and procedures per company and OSHA requirements.
Certificates, Licenses, or other Requirements:
•Valid Driver License that meets ICE Services’ insurance criteria.
•Current DEC Food Handler’s Card.
•North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Card - preferred, not required.
•Rotational schedule of at least 11.50 hours per day for a minimum of 21 days consecutively as required.
•Ability to lift & carry 50 pounds on regular basis and perform routine walking, standing and bending. There is a lack of immediate access to critical medical services, as well as urban community services.
•Must pass a pre-hire drug test, breath alcohol test, occupational fitness test, criminal background check and computer-based testing.

•Maintain storerooms, shelves, loading docks, and walk-in coolers by properly laying out and rotating products.
•Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, vehicles, or shelves.
•Keep accurate inventories/records of materials on hand.
•Work with other personnel to make sure all products and supplies will be available and ready as needed.
•Order materials, products and supplies as needed.
•Keep accurate records of invoices on purchases.
•Prepare reports or invoices for accounts payable. Update pricing and databases regularly.
•Inspect deliveries for quality and quantity ordered.
•Count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled.
•Deliver, unload, load, stock, clean, rotate, or pick up materials/product. Regularly maintain, clean, sweep, mop, etc. coolers, floors, storerooms, loading docks, shelves, etc.
•May handle special food service related projects. May prepare and clean products to be stored. May assist in maintaining the cleanliness of other associated areas.
•Clean work area, machines, and equipment and keep assigned areas neat, safe, and orderly.
•May assist others with general day-to-day activities.
•Observe all safety standards and regulations.
