Eclipse Virtual Design is expanding our team and looking for a highly skilled  Senior Piping Designer/Drafter

 to lead the design and development of piping systems for industrial projects. This role involves close collaboration with engineers and field technicians to create accurate, functional, and high-quality designs. Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop and review piping designs and layouts, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.

- Create and check isometric drawings, general arrangement and other standard package drawings.

- Work closely with engineers and field teams to optimize designs.

- Utilize 

3D Pointclouds

 for steel and piping fit-ups.

- Manage projects from concept P&ID to detailed piping drawings.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.

- Provide mentorship to junior designers.

- Ability to work weekends and evenings when required.

Skills and Competencies

- Strong proficiency in 

AutoCAD, CADWorx, Spoolfab

, 

Navisworks

 or similar design software.

- Expert knowledge of piping codes, standards, and regulations.

- Experience working with 

3D Pointclouds

 and integrating scan data into designs.

- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience Requirements

- Minimum 

10+ years

 of experience in 

piping design

.

- Experience in the 

oil and gas, industrial, or EPCM sectors

 is preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
