Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Support Technician is responsible for supporting the manufacturing of Core products. Perform duties to improve and maintain Cores safety, quality and efficiency. Continues improvement projects, ongoing operations and with other departments.
- Ensure workplace safety and actively participate in the safety program
- Know and follow company policies and procedures
- Write and update work instructions (WI) ensuring procedures remain current, accurate, and easily accessible to operators
- Track WI and training records ensuring documentation compliance
- Conduct hands-on training sessions with production staff under the direction of lead hands and supervisors
- Implement processes to improve safety, quality, efficiency and overall performance
- Participate and lead lean initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
- Incident investigation and corrective actions
- Lead HAA and implementation of corrective actions
- Perform first article and spot checks
- Confirm adherence to documented processes
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production support
- College diploma or equivalent in a technical discipline (e.g., manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial technology) preferred
- Strong technical writing skills for documentation and reporting
- Familiarity with basic inspection tools, quality checks, and process documentation
- Understand and apply the CORE Quality Policy
- Be aware of the CORE QMS
- Participate actively in training, operational improvement teams, preventative and corrective actions and identifying non-conformities, and
- Identifying, understanding, and applying applicable standard operating procedures and work instructions.
