Polaris Engineering was formed in 1997 with the intent to provide small and mid-size oil and gas producers an alternative to the traditional facilities engineering project approach. Company principals Enrico N. Cappelletto, P.Eng. and David M. Curial, P.Eng. bring considerable experience from oil and gas producing companies, engineering, and manufacturing and take an active role in all aspects of the project cycle. Our business is evolving, and additional markets can now be serviced by Polaris including power generation, transmission and distribution, blockchain, municipal infrastructure, and produced water treatment and management. ​

With the recent addition of Alain Guerard, MBA to the Polaris team, our company is now able to provide the above services to new markets. His expertise and relationships in the high voltage power generation, transmission/distribution markets and international project experience combined with our engineering leadership enables Polaris to be effective in providing professional services to those markets. Additionally, Alain brings considerable expertise in all aspects of supply chain thus enabling Polaris to provide comprehensive support in procurement and contracts as well as international supply chain efforts. ​

Polaris Engineering is now supporting international markets by bringing Canadian EPC expertise and knowledge to other countries with growing needs for these skills and experience.

Close collaboration with the client is encouraged during all phases of the project to ensure that the lines of communication are always open and that the project objectives are met. The assigned Project Manager will follow the project from start to completion to ensure continuity and eliminate costly and time consuming recycle. ​

Polaris Engineering is seeking **Junior to Intermediate Electrical Drafting** personnel to join our Electrical Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience for oil & gas facilities and power generation and asset.

**Key Responsibilities:**

*Drafting*

- Single line diagrams
- Schematics and wiring diagrams
- Lighting layouts
- Power distribution drawings
- Cable tray routing
- Grounding layouts
- Motor control and equipment layouts

*Skills, Knowledge and Expertise*

- Minimum 3 to 5+ years of electrical drafting experience within EPCM environments.
- Experience with AutoCAD

Candidates must reside in Calgary or the local area as this will be an in-office position.
