We pride ourselves on having a strong culture of respect, fun, continuous learning, and hard work. Working at Highwood is not easy – but it can be incredibly rewarding. Join us as we endeavor to overcome some of the world’s biggest challenges and help mitigate the impacts of climate change.
Highwood Emissions Management (Highwood) is an equal opportunity employer working to enable diversity in the workforce. We welcome all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status. We also value diversity of worldview, experience, and perspective.Reducing GHG emissions from the oil and natural gas industry is one of the single greatest short-term impacts that we can make towards decarbonizing our economy. Incentivizing the production, transportation, and end use of low-carbon energy is critical. Highwood is looking to expand its consulting team and
is currently seeking to fill the role of Intermediate Emissions Consultant. The consulting team at Highwood delivers high-value, actionable products to clients as well as contributing to innovation through Highwood’s software offerings and overall thought leadership.
Currently, Highwood is focused on expanding our Emission Intelligence Platform (EIP), which allows customers to understand their emissions in new and valuable ways. But your scope will not be limited to EIP as you will contribute to challenging, fast paced consulting projects which call for strong data analytics, technical writing, project management, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Your role will be to contribute to the consulting team through the creation of high value deliverables, growing the consulting pipeline via business development efforts, and staying current with industry education and trends. The role is an exciting growth opportunity where you will:
– Between our software and consulting partners, Highwood works with many methane detection and quantification technology vendors and operators active in this space. This gives our team exposure to a variety of datasets.
– The consulting team works collaboratively with the R&D, product, and senior leadership teams.
– Work on EIP is a team effort. You will contribute feedback to the ongoing refinement of EIP through your expertise in what oil and gas clients are looking for when seeking to better understand their emissions.
We are looking for a confident, client-focused consultant who thrives equally on delivering challenging, technical products and building relationships and driving new business. The ideal candidate pairs sharp data analysis skills with a strategic mindset, turning complex data into actionable emissions reduction strategy recommendations that drive value. You’ll be equally at home nurturing long-term partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and digging into data to solve real-world emissions challenges. If you bring both people skills and analytical chops, we’d love to meet you.
Here are some of the things we’re looking for. Note that we don’t expect you to have all these qualifications, experiences, and/or skills. Highwood will choose to train someone with the right attitude and capacity to learn over hiring the wrong person with the right skills.
At Highwood, we are committed to the physical and mental health of our employees and of their families. Here are some of the reasons why our employees love it here:
