Industrial Maintenance Technician

Ellis Fabrications is a growing Canadian manufacturer that designs and builds premium construction equipment attachments and innovative trench safety systems. As our production continues to expand, we’re looking for a career-minded, full-time Maintenance Technician to join our shop team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping equipment running, solving problems, and working hands-on in a busy fabrication environment.

What You’ll Do

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on shop equipment

- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues

- Maintain CNC machines, press brakes, cranes, compressors, welding and cutting equipment

- Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime

- Assist with facility and building maintenance as needed

- Follow safety procedures and help maintain a safe, organized shop

- Keep basic maintenance records and communicate repair needs

- CNC Machining Centres

- Press Brakes

- Overhead Cranes

- Welding Equipment

- Air Compressors

- Lasers & Plasma Cutting Equipment

- Forklifts & Heavy Equipment

- General electrical knowledge

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop with changing priorities

- Safety-minded and detail-oriented

- Physically capable of performing hands-on maintenance work

- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Millwright certification is a strong asset but not required.
