Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer networking and operating systems, along with excellent communication skills. This role is essential in providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide first-level technical support to staff (hardware, software, printers, network, and email)
•Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and other IT equipment
•Assist with system updates, backups, and documentation
•Monitor and respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner
•Support onboarding/offboarding processes (setting up new users, accounts, access)
•Maintain and organize IT inventory and asset records
•Assist in maintaining network and system security
•Participate in small IT projects and provide support as needed
Qualifications:
•Recent graduate with a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
•Basic understanding of Windows/Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and network principles
•Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems is a plus
•Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
•Good communication and customer service skills
•Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have:
•Experience with ERP maintenance, basic networking,
•Relevant internships, co-op placements, or academic projects
