Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and engineering skills, with a focus on hydraulic systems. This role involves designing, developing, and testing hydraulic components and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The Hydraulic Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet project specifications and client requirements.
- Design and develop hydraulic systems and components using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.
- Create detailed schematics and drafting documentation for hydraulic systems.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for system automation and control.
- Conduct system design analysis to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform simulations and modeling using MATLAB to predict system behavior under various conditions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility of designs and assist in the production process.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of design processes, tests, and modifications made during development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and Creo, for 3D modeling and design.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, mechanics, and system design.
- Experience with drafting techniques and the creation of technical documentation.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) for automation applications.
- Knowledge of LabVIEW for data acquisition and control systems is a plus.
- Experience with CNC machinery is advantageous for understanding manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
