DT Equipment Repair Inc. is your premier Mobile Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Repair provider. We operate primarily in Western Canada & the Territories. Specializing in embedded contracts in Oil/Gas, Mining, Logging and Heavy Civil Construction.
DT Equipment Repair is looking for qualified Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technicians to work for DT Equipment Service Trucks in Fly In/Fly Out positions in Central, Western & Northern Canada.
- Full-time permanent HD Field Mechanic
- Minimum of 5 yrs experience
- Must be physically fit and highly motivated with a solid work ethic
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening mandatory
- Pre-employment background check
- Safe and ethical operation of DT Equipment Repair Inc. Service Trucks and Vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair equipment deficiencies
- Communicate with site management to coordinate maintenance priorities
- Maintain maintenance records
- Promote safety awareness by ensuring compliance of corporate health and safety policies and procedures
- MANDITORY - Heavy Equipment Technician (Off Road) – Journeyman (Red Seal) Certified
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with CAT, John Deere and Hitachi equipment
- Minimum 5 years in Heavy Civil Earthworks Construction and/or Mining
- Have the ability to deal with large volumes of work and demanding situations
- Energy Safety Canada CSO training
- Willingness to work in Fort McMurray or NWT and working a rotational schedule
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid Class 5 operators license (candidate to provide current abstract)
- Standard First Aid certification is required
- Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection and Ariel Work Platform certifications are required
- $55-$60 per Hour (1.5X Overtime after 8hrs Daily & 40hrs weekly, 2X after 12hrs Daily)
- Fly in/Fly out positions - Fort McMurray/NWT's
- 14/14 work schedule
