NRS Energy Inc. is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Sampling Technician to join our Edmonton team. This position is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. Knowledge of oil and gas wells, SAGD, processing plants, field compressors, and batteries is highly desirable and will set you apart as a candidate.

In this role, you’ll be driving to various sites to collect sweet and sour gas, condensate, oil, bitumen, and water samples using a variety of sampling and testing procedures. Flexibility is required, as occasional out-of-town travel and evening or weekend shifts are part of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct field sampling and testing of oil and gas products with accuracy and attention to detail.

- Comply with all company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and procedures.

- Work independently and efficiently, managing tasks with minimal supervision.

- Maintain a safety-first mindset in all operations.

Qualifications:

- Proven hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry.

- Strong knowledge of oil and gas wells, processing plants, compressors, and batteries (preferred).

- Current H2S and Standard First-Aid certifications (preferred).

- Flexible availability for evening, weekend, and out-of-town work assignments.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract (to be provided during the interview process).

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
