Objectives：

The Engineer/technologist is responsible for providing engineering support an experience to the Completions operations and engineering group. Ensuring completions operations they are assigned manager are planned and executed as per COSL, Client and government Policies and Standards and regulatory requirements. It is the responsibility of the completions engineer/technologist to ensure drafting of the completions programs meet our exceed all client and regulatory regulation

The role must adequately demonstrate to the employer, through on-the-job experience or a previous assignment, an ability to competently and safely perform the duties required.

Responsibilities：

- Ensure that engineering work is being conducted as per industry standard.

- Follow APEGA regulations. Manage document and implementation (Engineer).

- Ensure that all COSL and CPNA engineering standards are met.

- Perform through well reviews prior during well program.

- Order and track the deliver of materials need to execute projects with the help of SCM.

- Planning and programming completions operations safely, cost effectively and in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements

- Prepare accurate programs, along with detailed and accurate cost estimates for lump sum proposals

- Complete detailed area reviews, analyze offset well data and new technologies to develop optimized completions techniques and completion designs

- Prepare and present peer reviews on area development and well designs.

- Review well files to generate completion and well servicing history.

- Work in conjunction with and provide leadership to asset teams to effectively design, plan and budget projects.

- Manage timing and scheduling of completions projects and communicate information to management, vendors and all disciplines involved throughout the project.

- Complete project reviews and lookbacks to evaluate the effectiveness of projects to optimize current and future projects.

- Document and implement learning events and incorporate into future projects.

- Stay current with completion technology to ensure timely and effective application of technology.

- Provide support during completion operations and assist the Operations Superintendent with daily operations, planning and vendor performance analysis.

- Maintain open and clear communication with operations group regarding program expectations.

- Monitor Operations group performance and ensure they are competent to perform their duties.

- Monitor work schedule to ensure that proper equipment and personnel are sourced to complete programs assigned.

- Understand and ensure compliance to COSL HSE management system by way of the following:

o Implement and adhere to COSL policies, standards, specifications, procedures and/or supporting documents related to the planning of the work.

- Plan and manage Hazard ID for all program work. Attach hazard ID in the information binder.

- Engineer work programs to meet or exceed industry and client standards.

- Support incident investigations.

- Assist to ensure SCM has contracts or PO in place for all vendors prior to starting work or ordering material.

- Participate in After Action Review to ensure well site activities are continually assessed.

- Ensure the lessons learnt from previous well operations are communicated in programs and to the rest of the engineering team.

- Actively engage operations for continuous improvements at the program and project planning level.

Relevant Requirements：

- 5-10years of completions engineering experience.

- Completions project management and programing experience.

- Experience in the work flow detailed in jobs description.

- SAGD/thermal experience strong assets.

- Engineers register with APEGA or Technologist Registered with ASET.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
