Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in completing conductors.

Duties

- Operate heavy trucks to transport goods over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.

- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.

- Assist in the basic maintenance of the truck, including minor repairs and troubleshooting.

- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to transportation safety.

Skills

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).

- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts for loading and unloading freight.

- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for performing basic maintenance on vehicles.

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.

- Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.

Pay: $24.15-$44.89 per hour
