Calibration Technician

Powerent Inc. specializes in the rental, calibration, and service of electrical and high-voltage test equipment. We're ISO 9001:2015 certified and trusted by leading industrial clients across North America. We're currently hiring a Calibration Technician to support our growing service team.

Responsibilities:

- Calibrate and repair electrical and high-voltage test equipment

- Use Fluke MET/TRACK and MET/CAL software for traceable documentation

- Troubleshoot issues to the component level

- Interpret technical schematics and service manuals

- Support both in-house and occasional on-site calibration jobs

- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment

- Collaborate with rental and service teams to ensure timely equipment turnaround

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of metrology principles and calibration processes

- Hands-on experience with Fluke 5520A, 5320, precision DMMs, electronic loads, and signal generators

- Familiar with high-voltage probes, IR temp calibration, and power analyzers

- Comfortable with test equipment troubleshooting and repair

- Strong communication and documentation skills

- Previous experience in a calibration lab or service setting preferred
