Position Overview

Nordic Energy is seeking a motivated and safety-conscioius Combo Vac Swamper to support our Combo Vac Operators in the field. The Swamper plays a key role in completing industrial cleaning, fluid removal, tank/line cleaning, and site support work. This is a physically demanding position requiring attention to detail, strong communication, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Combo Vac Operator with daily job tasks and onsite operations.

- Set up and dismantle hoses, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.

- Support industrial cleaning, hydro-vac?pressure tasks, tank cleaning, and waste removal.

- Complete field documents including FLHAs, permits, and hazard assessments.

- Ensure work areas, tools, and equipment are cleaned and maintained.

- Maintain strong communiction with operators, dispatch, and site supervisors.

- Follow all Nordic Energy safety policies, client procedures, and regulatory requirements.

- Perform physically demading work in varying weather and site onditons.

Qualifications

- Previous oilfield or industrial labor experience an asset.

- Must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and outdoor work.

- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Reliable transportation to and from the yard.

- Strong teamwork, communication, and work ethic.

Required Certifications

- H2S Alive

- First Aid - Level C

- CSO/CSTS

- Confined Space Entry (asset)

- Fall Protection (asset)
