Position Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at the Corporate Office in Sherwood Park. This role is crucial to the success of our financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers while supporting our internal teams with reliable financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
•Accurately process accounts payable transactions
•Enter invoices and payment requests into the accounting system
•Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
•Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable
•Maintain well-organized records and documentation
•Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflows
Requirements
•Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role
•Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
•Familiarity with accounting software (ADP, PeopleSoft, or Ceridian is an asset)
•Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies
•Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
•Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
