Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Supervisor to lead our construction team in delivering high-quality projects. As a Carpenter Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on-site, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Duties
•Supervise and manage carpentry crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications.
•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution.
•Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage schedules, and communicate with team members.
•Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
•Oversee budgeting processes, including material procurement and labor costs, to maintain project profitability.
•Collaborate with other trades and contractors to coordinate work schedules and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
•Train and mentor junior carpenters in best practices for safety, craftsmanship, and efficiency.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Skills
•Proficiency in construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
•Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
•Excellent management skills with a focus on team leadership and motivation.
•Knowledge of budgeting practices related to construction projects.
•Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar software for document management.
