Position Overview
About the position: Select’s Dispatcher schedules and dispatches workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles for conveyance of materials, freight, or passengers, or for normal installation, service, or emergency repairs rendered outside the place of business.
Essential Functions
- Prepares daily work and run schedules.
- Determines types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications.
- Orders supplies and equipment, and issues them to personnel.
- Monitors personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules.
- Records and maintains files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.
- Confers with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.

Work Experience
- 6+ months experience, preferrably in the Oil and Gas Trucking industry is required.
- This position works inside a climate-controlled environment.
- The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job.
- Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.
- Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time.
- Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Reports to Manager, Operations.
- This position is classified as safety-sensitive and, like all roles within our organization, requires strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. A strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment is essential, and this role may be subject to regular safety training and assessments.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
