Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services

- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits

- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing

- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales

- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized

- Manage stock levels through stocking, inventory checks, and merchandising updates

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Qualifications

- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments

- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in team settings

- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling, pricing, and inventory management

- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with diverse customers and team members

- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a broader customer base

- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math skills required

- Experience with merchandising, stocking, product demos, upselling, and customer service is desirable

- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales practices will be advantageous
