We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Quality Control Technician to ensure that our products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves inspecting materials and products, conducting tests, maintaining records, and working closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement instruments.
- Review production documentation, including work orders, specifications, and inspection criteria.
- Identify and report non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and assist in root cause analysis.
- Maintain accurate inspection and testing records, logs, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and suggest improvements.
- Support internal and external audits and inspections.
- Monitor and calibrate inspection tools and testing equipment.
- Follow safety and environmental protocols in the workplace.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficient in using measuring and testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems (QMS).
- 5 % Travel
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to [25/50] pounds.
- Manual dexterity for handling small components and precision instruments.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other quality improvement methodologies.
