Reporting to the Underground Mine Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Repair to diesel equipment, including, but not limited to: Atlas Copco M2 and S2 Jumbos, Epiroc Scoops, Trucks, Scissor Lifts, Mine Cat equipment;
- Responsible for the maintenance of mine equipment and facilities to ensure their maximum contribution to the safety, quality and productivity of the operation;
- Assembles, adjusts sets-up, lubricates, and maintains/repairs all types of mining equipment;
- Read and interpret blueprints while carefully following manufacturer’s instructions;
- Carry out work orders related to the preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance plan of the operation;
- Equipment removal, installation, alignment, troubleshooting and repair;
- Ensure that the work areas, equipment and work practices comply with the regulatory codes, statutes and company requirements;
- Liaise effectively with colleagues and managers regarding various work situations and the activities within the department;
- All other duties as may be assigned.
- Experience troubleshooting engines, hydraulic and electrical issues, etc.;
- Experience reading & understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Schedule: 7/7 schedule (10 hours per day) at our Upper Beaver Gold Project in Dobie, ON.
