AirJoule is seeking an Electrical Technologist to join the operations team. This role will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. This role involves hands-on work with prototypes, control systems, and wire harness assemblies, as well as supporting general electrical needs across the facility. This assignment will be located at AirJoule’s headquarters in Newark, DE.

- Install, configure, and calibrate electrical equipment and systems
- Perform quality control inspections and safety checks on electrical components and installations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in equipment, control panels, and wiring systems.
- Conduct performance and functionality tests of electrical systems and devices under simulated or controlled conditions.
- Assist in developing prototypes from technical drawings, plans, or conceptual sketches.
- Build wire harness assemblies and control box assemblies with precision and adherence to design requirements.
- Provide support for general building electrical needs, including lighting, outlets, and power distribution
- Uphold a safe, respectful, collaborative, inclusive, and appreciative team environment
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma required; Not required but valued: an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
- Minimum Experience: 2-5 years of proven electrical engineering design experience in new product development, with mechanical controls and sensor systems.
- Preferred Certification: PE Licensure / EIT certification
- Experience with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with prototype development and assembly is an asset
- Excellent organization skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and be flexible towards direction changes
- Strong desire to be part of the AirJoule team and enable the company vision
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, fans, motors, and HVAC systems
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the industrial facility.
