Description

- Manage all regulatory and permitting activities associated with drilling and operations of wells for assigned teams. States covered may include Texas, New Mexico.

- Drilling, completion, recompletion, plugging, well testing, injection well applications, annual testing, annual regulatory reports.

- Provide guidance to teams on local, state and federal permitting and operating requirements to ensure compliance.

- Work with various teams and business units to resolve operation and production-related compliance issues, including inactive well compliance.

- Develop business relationships with professionals at regulatory agencies to ensure knowledge of the rules and compliance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

- Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas related experience or demonstrated knowledge of the industry.

- Minimum of 10 years regulatory and compliance experience

- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications and internet applications.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic, multi-task, customer service environment

- Good organization and time management skills

- Strong ethics, service attitude, team player
