Job Summary

METCOM Inc. in Cookeville, TN is seeking a dependable Wash Tech to support production by ensuring parts are properly washed, inspected, and prepared for shipment while meeting efficiency and quality standards.

Hours

Monday-Thursday 5:50am-3:30pm

Friday 5:50am-9:50am

Duties

- Load parts onto conveyor systems to meet production standards

- Unload, dry, and inspect parts for quality and conformance

- Maintain accurate part counts and package items correctly for shipment

- Start up and operate parts washer and dryer; troubleshoot minor issues

- Coordinate wash production to ensure ship lists are met

- Meet or exceed efficiency and productivity standards

- Demonstrate leadership, initiative, and decision-making on the production floor

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED OR

- Minimum of 6 months previous manufacturing experience

- Ability to work overtime when scheduled

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
