Role Description

This is a full-time role at Generac as a Firmware Engineer. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for tasks including debugging, developing embedded software, and working on electrical engineering projects. You will also contribute to software development and work with ARM architecture. This is a onsite role, based in Reno, NV, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

- Experience in developing embedded software

- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices

- Proficiency in software development

- Familiarity with ARM architecture

- Excellent analytical and technical skills

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities

- Experience in the energy or power industry is a plus

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
