Freedom Forever is currently hiring an Electrical Coordinator for our Canton, MI Office!
Position Summary
The Electrical Coordinator supports the Electrical Production Manager by scheduling utility disconnects/reconnects, inspections, and overseeing electrical installations. This role ensures projects meet inspection requirements and coordinates with homeowners, utility companies, and local operations teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate Electrical Crews with the Electrical Production Manager
- Schedule installations per code and company standards
- Review and schedule inspections
- Communicate with cities/counties regarding inspection results
- Complete permit revision paperwork
- Print plans per AHJ and SOW requirements
- Upload inspection results and corrections to CRM
- Notify design team of required changes
- Prepare weekly reports
- Maintain and submit expense reports
- Respond to customer inspection inquiries
- Escalate customer concerns as needed
- Enforce safety procedures
- Attend weekly team calls/webinars
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 2+ years of relevant experience - 1+ year of solar experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and team collaboration
- Organized and self-directed
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite; CRM/ERP experience a plus
- Able to interpret job orders and specifications
- Timely communication across departments
- Extended computer and phone use
- Frequent sitting, standing, and bending
- Occasional lifting (5–10 lbs)
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
