The Project Engineer is a full-time position reporting to the VP, Engineering. As a member of the Engineering Team, the Project Engineer is responsible for the support of the field operations team and equipment, the design and development of new equipment, Field inspections, modifications & repairs, work with the sales team and help generate more work for the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Civil Discipline (APEGA registration as P.Eng)

· 5 - 10 years of experience with Oil Field Equipment Design & Inspections

· Experience in Manufacturing Processes and Design (Structural Design, Weld Calculations, and FEA) is considered an asset as well as familiarity with API 4F and 8C.

· Experience working with Solidworks, AutoCAD and Ansys is preferred.

· Strong problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced and dynamic environment is critical.

· Familiar and experience with API 4G & CAODC Recommended Practices

· Must be willing to Travel and be available on weekends for emergency situations

· Not afraid of Heights
