Must be able to work with foremen and supervisors. Bilingual abilities in Spanish preferred, but not required. Ability to recognize weld defects, areas of improvement, and other weaknesses in all products at Smith Industries LLC. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Some, but not all of the primary work duties are as follows:

- Assures the quality of all materials, structures, components of all types of pressure vessels and tanks, is maintained throughout the production process.

- Verifies that all vessels, tanks, and other product lines comply with all relevant quality standards and regulations (i.e. ASME and API, etc).

- Verifies materials, parts and final products through independent checks and inspections.

- Assists in defining a QA/QC program that meets the full scope of all regulatory requirements.

- Maintains and documents all Quality Control inspections and findings on travelers and QC Inspection sheets.
