Equipped with advanced tools, such as welding trucks, service trucks, and mobile rigging cribs, Structure Group is dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions to clients.
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Millwright located in Sparwood, BC. The Millwright will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment used in mining operations. Plant maintenance during outages. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and safely operating hand tools and power tools for repairs. Collaboration with a team of skilled professionals and adherence to safety protocols are integral to the role.
- Experience with welding repairs with the desire to obtain CWB certifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for mechanical and technical challenges
- Proficiency with maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and machinery
- Skilled in the use of power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work in compliance with industry standards
- Previous experience in mining/plant maintenance
- Relevant technical certification or trade qualification in millwrighting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable working at heights
- Desire to be diverse in your work scope and learn new things
