Project Engineer – Electrical

We are hiring a Project Engineer (Electrical) to support the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects across North America. This role offers the opportunity to work on utility-scale solar projects as part of an independent engineering team, providing oversight, and technical diligence.

What You’ll Do:

- Oversee and verify technical designs for utility-scale solar projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and performance.

- Act as an independent engineer, reviewing project documentation, energy yield assessments, and performance analyses.

- Provide objective evaluations of project risks, assumptions, and technical deliverables.

- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, managing communications with project owners, developers, lenders, and other stakeholders.

- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and contribute technical expertise to reports and presentations.

- Stay current with Canadian and U.S. standards, codes, and best practices for large-scale renewable energy development.

What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field.

- Experience with multiple utility-scale solar projects.

- Background in project engineering, design oversight, or independent engineering for renewable energy.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate technical and financial assumptions.

- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical detail into clear insights.

- Proven ability to work in client-facing roles, building relationships and delivering high-quality service.
