Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, demonstrating proficiency in various maintenance person duties. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and operational, providing a safe and functional environment for all.

Responsibilities

- Perform general maintenance and repairs on houses and apartments.

- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues requiring attention.

- Utilize tools and equipment effectively (power tools).

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects as needed.

- Ensure all work is done professionally with attention to details.

Qualifications

- Some experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role.

- Drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, framing and roofing experience are a plus.

- Knowledge of various repair techniques and methods.

- Be able to use power tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Good communication skills to interact with team members and management.
