- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote literacy, numeracy, physical activity, and social skills tailored to diverse learning needs
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, independence, and respectful interactions among children
- Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions effectively to maintain a structured yet flexible learning environment
- Use assessment tools and standardized testing to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with unique learning needs
- Engage in lesson planning that integrates Montessori principles, hands-on activities, and age-appropriate educational practices
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about children's progress, behavior management strategies, and developmental milestones
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices including behavior management and classroom management techniques
- Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content for toddlers through preschool-aged children with a focus on literacy education, math, physical education, and child welfare
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and inclusive teaching strategies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community partners
- Certification or degree in early childhood education or a related field; Montessori training or experience is a plus
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and promote holistic child development
