Easton Utilities is currently seeking to fill the position of Billing Assistant. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail and exemplify a strong work ethic that portrays Easton Utilities core values of Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence.

HIRING RANGE: Annual Salary of $48,993.00 or higher depending upon experience and credentials.

JOB OBJECTIVE: To review and maintain accurate billing data to ensure the timely and accurate generation of monthly billing statements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and strong time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.

- Experience in use of Microsoft Office software.

- Must have a valid driver’s license.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent.

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Analyze and validate meter reading and variation data to ensure accurate customer billing.

- Process Cycle Billing.

- Process Service Orders.

- Process the transfer of data between meter reading devices and CIS.

- Compile Invalid Addresses & NCOA data.

- Assist with annual billing-related activities.

- Review Zero Consumption data.

- Understand CIS Billing system, customer procedures and policies.

- Other duties, as assigned.

- Regular, reliable attendance is a requirement of this job.
