LINEMAN (C1)

The Lineman is responsible for maintaining the high voltage / power distribution equipment throughout the mine. This includes all bucket truck, digger truck, and ground rod work as well.

Where will you work: Onsite Four Corners Mine (4 Corners Mine Road, Parrish Florida 34219)

Hours: M-F 7am-3pm

What you'll do:

- Assemble, maintain, monitor and disassemble electrical substations.

- Set up line transformers.

- Drive a boom bucket truck.

- Properly manipulate the boom bucket with the use of hand levers up to a height of 70 feet.

- Report any problems to supervisor for immediate attention.

- Housekeeping as needed.

- Radio communication with co-workers and supervisors.

- Dig large holes with auger to place poles.

- Drive and use Digger Derrick truck.

- Install / Maintain Pole top lighting.

- Read and review power distribution drawings.

- Troubleshoot / repair high voltage power distribution systems.

What you'll need:

- High school diploma or GED preferred.

- 5+ year’s lineman experience required.

- Class B CDL required.

- Certificate or associate’s degree in electrical / high voltage preferred.
