Description:

Responsible for picking and packing of customer orders, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Shipping Manager.

Description:

- Accurately picks materials for customer orders and packs the materials for shipment

- Ensures compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures

- Completes hazardous materials (DOT/IATA) training

- Processes/tracks customer orders in computer software, StarShip/Sage 100 (will train)

- Schedule freight shipments, when necessary

- Assists with investigation of customer complaints as related to shipping

- Assist with daily inventory counts and production when needed

- Assist with Investigation of customer complaints and any inventory discrepancies related to shipping

- Performs inventory adjustments

- Performs additional duties as required by Shipping Manager

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Simple math skills

- Lifting up to 50 lbs daily

- Keeping work area clean and orderly

- HS or GED required

- Time management/performs well under pressure

- Accuracy and efficiency are imperative

- Multi-tasking is 80% of the position
