Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This position is responsible for welding, cutting, and fabricating metal components used in the production, maintenance, and repair of equipment, tools, and fixtures that support our granite operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on a variety of metals

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

- Measure, cut, and fabricate metal parts for equipment, tools, and structures.

- Assemble and repair components to support quarry and production operations.

- Operate shop tools and equipment (grinders, torches, saws, drills, etc.) safely and effectively.

- Inspect welds and fabricated parts for quality and accuracy.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following MSHA/OSHA and company safety standards.

- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure equipment reliability.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in welding preferred.

- Preferred: 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience or equivalent training. However, open to training the right candidate

- Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
