What You’ll Do
We are seeking a Director of Project Management to lead our Operations group’s project management function. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee a team of Program and Project Managers delivering complex, multi-discipline EPC projects. You’ll drive performance, mentor leaders, and ensure organizational standards of safety, quality, budget, and schedule are achieved.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Program and Project Managers across multiple large-scale projects.
- Define scope, deliverables, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with executives and stakeholders.
- Review and approve project and program plans, subcontractor contracts, and change orders.
- Oversee risk management, quality reviews, and cross-project reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement through process development and implementation.
- Serve as the escalation point for project challenges, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Partner with executives, sponsors, and clients to deliver successful outcomes.- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or 20+ years equivalent experience)
- PMP certification (preferred)
- 15+ years of progressive project/program management experience in multi-discipline EPC projects within the utility or related industries- Proven ability to lead and inspire project management teams
- Strong knowledge of transmission and substation design, CPM scheduling, utility accounting practices, contract administration, and permitting
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and project management tools (Primavera P6/MS Project)
