Position Summary
The Field Safety Representative (FSR) ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across oil field operations. This role involves conducting inspections, training personnel, managing incidents, and promoting a culture of safety in high-risk environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
•Train field personnel on safety protocols, incident reporting, and root-cause analysis
•Lead safety meetings and emergency drills
•Educate employees on regulatory compliance and company policies
•Respond to jobsite incidents and injuries
•Investigate accidents and prepare detailed root-cause reports
•Manage workers’ compensation reporting and follow-up
•Conduct HSE audits and site inspections
•Verify proper handling and storage of hazardous materials
•Ensure documentation accuracy for safety and environmental compliance
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
•High school diploma or equivalent required
•1–3 years in oil & gas or industrial safety roles
•Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific regulation
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to work independently and in teams
•Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities

Physical Demands and Work Environment
•Pushing & Pulling: Involves exerting force to move or adjust heavy objects or safety gear
•Reaching: Frequent reaching overhead or at shoulder level to inspect or adjust safety equipment
