Reliability Engineer Full-Time, Permanent Any province in which Graymont has operations
Graymont is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our team and provide guidance and support to our network of facilities across North America to ensure the highest levels of performance and reliability for our plant equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Program Manager (North America), you will apply Graymont’s Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology to implement, manage, and sustain reliability focused activities that maximize equipment uptime, performance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and participate actively to ensure the highest standards are achieved and maintained in terms of safety, environment, quality, and efficiency.
- Coordinate development and annual review of the plant’s Asset Reliability Criteria.
- Conduct and lead Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) equipment criticality evaluations on plant and mobile equipment in accordance with Graymont practices.
- Conduct and lead the development , and annual review of preventive maintenance programs on plant and mobile equipment.
- Work with Maintenance Planner Schedulers to create and maintain preventive maintenance tasks identified through RCM practices.
- Ensure establishment and proper function of the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) program in accordance with Graymont RCA practices.
- Support the advancement and sustainable use of various asset condition monitoring technologies, tools and systems (System).
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance and operations employees related to the Graymont Reliability Program, such as defect elimination and document change management.
- Lead and participate in maintenance related and/or strategic projects as required.
- Works effectively on diverse assignments, contributing to cross-functional initiatives and fostering team success.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering. Technical certification in a related field will be considered.
- Professional Experience: Experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency JD Edwards (or other ERP systems) and MS Office, with the ability to quickly learn new applications. Data analytics skills and experience are considered an asset.
- Safety: Proven track record of safe work practices and demonstrated safety leadership.
- Travel: This position can require frequent travel based on business and operational needs throughout the U.S. and Canada and can be up to 50%.
