Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Pipefitter role located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The Pipefitter will install, assemble, maintain, and repair various piping systems, including those that transport steam, water, and other materials. Day-to-day tasks include reading blueprints, preparing pipe sections, joining components using suitable welding techniques, such as TIG welding, and testing piping systems for safety and durability. The role requires working collaboratively with other trade professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes on heavy industrial and mining-related projects.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Pipe and Pipefitting techniques

- IRATA 1, 2 or 3 considered a strong asset

- Experience working with Steam systems

- Attention to detail and ability to interpret technical blueprints and specifications

- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and regulations

- Teamwork and effective communication skills

- Relevant pipefitter certification or technical training is preferred

- Experience in the heavy industrial or mining sector is an asset
