Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CADD Technician to join our innovative team. In this role, you will operate Computer-Aided Design systems to create, update and modify maps and perform manual drafting in support of a variety of routine projects.

Responsibilities

- Provide CADD drafting and design support for the Engineering Department or other staff as needed.

- Perform work as assigned from sketches, verbal instructions, and notes.

- Work under the direction of the Senior Mine Engineer and Engineering Manager.

- Work closely with all departments to ensure that drawings convey the correct information.

- Self-check work for completeness, accuracy, and standards

- Work from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or other specifications.

- Compile and interpret various types of data to support design and tasks

- Draft accurate schematics, layouts, and technical documentation for projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

- Collaborate with engineers and managers to support project coordination efforts.

- Support the creation of drafting standards and procedures to improve workflow efficiency across teams.

- Qualifications

- Proven experience with CAD software.

- Knowledge of mining processes and project coordination practices.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.

- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Prior experience in the Mining industry a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
