Requirements:

- Previous AMR/AMI Meter Installation experience and/or Field Technician experience is preferred butWe WILL TRAIN!

- Previous electrical experience, training or knowledge is preferred

- Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record

- Excellent communications skills

- Customer Service skills – must be able to interface with Field Representatives & Customers in a positive and professional manner

- Ability to read and understand maps

- Self-motivated, ability to work independently

- Must pass the following pre-employment requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Drug Screen

- Physical Requirements:

- Ability to work in confined spaces, heights, and around moving mechanical parts.

- Normal abilities to perform stooping, crawling, reaching, twisting/standing.

- Ability to walk, sit or stand for extended periods of time

- Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely for extended periods of time

- Normal functioning senses, good eyesight, color vision, field and depth perception.

- Environmental Requirements:

- Environment will be inside and outside conditions.

- Exposure to heat, cold, fumes, dust, noise and water.

- Must be willing to work extended and irregular hours.

- Ability to adjust to inclement weather changes.

- Work around all types of animals.

Responsibilities:

- Identify any issues or problems and elevate to the Supervisor on each occurrence

- Accurately document the completion of all work performed

- Perform the daily task of field deployment and route saturation

- Physically able to lift equipment or other objects weighing 25 pounds or more

- Ability to work in an outdoor environment, including walking, climbing, stooping & driving 8-10 hours per day in all types of weather conditions.

Preferred Skills:

- Microsoft Windows knowledge

- Ability to work in a fast-paced production, deadline driven environment

- Deliver exceptional safe quality AMI meter installations

- Ability to accurately record information in a Windows based handheld computer

- Self-motivated, can work independently with technical support as needed
