Looking for a career opportunity? Come join Wood as a Forklift/Material Handler in Hebron, OH. This candidate will transfer and move material to storage and shipment areas. - Move, loads and unload materials
- Responsible for safety, equipment inspections and possibly assisting with repairs
- Be expected to assist other crafts in their down times which may include non-operating activities.
- Perform daily pre- and post-shift inspections of all equipment to be used to ensure its safely operable.
- Load finished bale product onto incoming trailers for shipment
- Communicate with staff on mechanical and operational issues
- Perform general ground maintenance, as needed
- Will be responsible for all safety aspects of operating equipment
- Must have knowledge and 6 months experience in operating forklifts
- Must have basic mechanical knowledge to inspect equipment
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must follow all safety regulations
- May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
