About Vimocity
Vimocity is building the future of workforce resilience and performance. We partner with utility, renewable energy, and construction organizations to transform how work gets done - bringing evidence-based movement, readiness, and recovery strategies directly to the people doing the work.
Through a combination of digital tools, hands-on delivery, and data-driven insights, we help companies:
- Reduce injury risk and lost time
- Improve worker longevity, resilience, and capacity
- Shift culture toward proactive performance rather than reactive rehab
We believe that frontline workers are elite in their own right, “industrial athletes,” whose success depends on durability, strength, awareness, and recovery. Our approach merges principles from sports medicine, strength & conditioning, and rehabilitation with the realities of heavy work environments.
We are expanding our footprint across the U.S. and scaling our impact through partnerships with large-scale utility, construction, and energy clients. Our team is composed of movers, thinkers, storytellers, and lifelong learners - all aligned behind the mission of enabling workers to thrive physically and sustainably.
About The Role
We’re seeking a Performance Coach to join our national delivery team. You’ll bring your movement science expertise - especially from backgrounds in Strength & Conditioning, Athletic Training, or Physical Therapy - to help shape how thousands of workers move, train, and recover.
This role is a hybrid of field delivery, remote coaching, curriculum development, and client-facing relationships. You’ll be responsible for executing workshops, designing job-specific protocols, and helping measure the ROI of our performance programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-impact in-person and virtual workshops on movement, ergonomics, injury prevention, and performance optimization
- Analyze job tasks and physical demands to prioritize risk areas and tailor interventions
- Collaborate with internal product, research, and analytics teams to refine protocols, tools, and performance metrics
- Drive data capture, reporting, and insights that tie to client outcomes (e.g. engagement, injury trends, movement improvements)
- Create content (written, video, digital) that communicates our methodology and amplifies our reach
- Travel to client sites periodically (approx. 35–50%) to deliver on-the-ground coaching and support
- Act as a brand ambassador - engaging with clients, stakeholders, and prospective partners
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, or a closely related field
- 3–7 years of experience in coaching, clinical settings, professional/collegiate sports, performance training, rehabilitation, or “industrial athletics”
- Preferred certifications: NSCA-CSCS, NASM, AT, DPT, DC, or equivalent
- Experience with functional assessment tools and/or ergonomic certification (e.g. FMS, SFMA, movement screens, biomechanical analysis)
- Deep mastery of human movement, biomechanics, and corrective exercise
- Strong presentation, communication, and instructional skills—comfortable leading groups of varying sizes
- Ability to translate complex science into accessible, actionable frameworks
- Confident in client-facing environments; strong relationship-building ability
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, iteration, and fast-paced environments
- Tech-forward mindset with interest in using tools like video analysis, LMS, data dashboards
- Passionate about serving working populations and improving quality of life on and off the clock
- Curious, coachable, and always seeking better methods and evidence
- Motivated by mission-driven work and seeing tangible impact
- Adaptable to shifting project needs, environments, and client contexts
How To Apply
If you’re energized by the idea of applying movement science to the real world, want to travel and teach, and believe in enabling working people to move better for life, we’d love to meet you.
