SUMMARY: Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: procurement, vendor relations, filing, reporting, maintaining a high level of trend awareness, customer service and servicing the fast-paced growing renewables industry.
- Follow up and track lead-times and on time performance of vendors.
- Assist in maintaining and updating supplier database, including contact information, product specifications, and performance evaluations to ensure a reliable supply chain.
•Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier invoices, liaising with finance/accounting and suppliers to correct errors and ensure accurate billing.
- Assist in maintaining proper amounts of inventory. Coordinate with inventory management team to monitor stock levels and forecast needs, preventing overstocking or stockouts
- Assist with managing vendor invoices as needed.
- Keep a clean and safe work environment and optimize space utilization.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Follow quality service, positive standards and comply with company processes, procedures, rules and regulations.
•Be an advocate of management procedures, policies, goals and vision for the company.
•Demonstrate and maintain positive relationships with all employees and the public.
•When wearing company uniforms, dress properly in the shop, and out in public.
•Possess problem solving, reasoning, reasonable judgement and analytical skills.
•Work independently and as a team member as required.
•Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statics.
•Associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics or inventory management preferred.
