Shipping Clerks are responsible for shipping all outgoing materials.

Primary functions include, but not limited to

- Shipping all outgoing items from the plant, packed in proper containers

- Forklift driving

- Safety and good housekeeping

- Assist in other department activities as required by supervision

Environment/ Physical Demands

- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.

- Requires frequent squatting, bending, stooping, sitting, and stretching.

- Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds of boxes and other equipment/materials.

- Requires correctable vision to be within the normal range for visual inspection of parts.

- Requires working in areas that are not ventilated or air-conditioned.

- Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery.

- Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience
